This activity was about choosing three numbers and solving the problem using division, multiplication,subtraction, addition. Then you could write about how you are going to solve it and what strategy you are going to use.

Making A Compass

Task Description : On Thursday 29th of June we made our own compass's. The compass was made using a bowl of water, a needle, a leaf and a magnet. We had to stroke the needle on the magnet for one minute. Next we put the leaf in the bowl of water then we put the needle in the middle of the leaf. After that we hold the magnet above the the bowl of water then if you move the magnet the needle and the leaf move where the magnet moves. Then we had to pack up all our stuff and then go in class.
